The Berlin Trilogy

I usually discover music 10, 15 years after it was made, don't know why, thats just the way it appears on my radar. I'm happy with that, so I think I'll just keep that flow going. My latest discovery has been David Bowies Berlin Trilogy. The albums Low, Heroes and Lodger. Way ahead of their time. Produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti and also featuring Brian Eno. The muso's used in this trilogy went on to form King Crimson.

Don't you wonder sometimes
'Bout sound and vision

Blue, blue, electric blue
That's the colour of my room
Where I will live
Blue, blue

Pale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to do, nothing to say
Blue, blue

I will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
Drifting into my solitude, over my head

Don't you wonder sometimes
'Bout sound and vision.

Man, that is so deeep.
