Moon had a conversation pit..

Keith Moon was mad, its true, but he also possessed an exceptionally cool conversation pit. Proving that there was indeed some methodology in his madness. Strange, I've never felt jealous of another mans conversation pit, suddenly, I feel inadequate.

Housing Blues...

The above picture has nothing what so ever to do with this post. Except to say, I'm a leg man. Don't get me wrong ladies, boobs are nice, but I'd not linger an eye longingly over your chest as I would your perfect pins. Long, short, skinny, fat I love them all and what they're attached to. TheBagwan, entertaining a lady friend in the above picture, has his eyes firmly on the prize.

But I digressed yet again. Frustrated about not being able to find a pad to meet his exacting standards, TheBagwan (again talking in the turd person) has commissioned his architect to design my new "man cave". Several illustrations of my design style follow:

Casual pimp is what is required in the bedroom. Everybody knows that TheBagwan is inspired by the retro international playboy style circa 50's-70's. Bedroom complete with nubile accessories, subdued lighting, picture of a babe on a motorcycle over the bed. I lean more toward leopard skin to break up the tones and create dynamic. Chill zone, chill baby..

Moving onto the living area, a sunken conversation pit will be the feature of this room. Notice to my architect: no badly constructed fake Balinese/Thai or Buddhist overtones will be tolerated, no plasma/lcd surround sound theatre system either. Designed for conversation (to bad TheBagwan is misanthropic, but a conversation pit is so incredibly cool) around a hand sawn thousand year old tree, that was specifically felled and the exact cut chosen for the purpose of inclusion in the "man cave". This is my nod to the green revolution and sustainability. Again, subdued lighting, but TheBagwan is a master of the rice paper light shade. Master..

The bathroom, will be a homage to my love of understated Japanese Minimalism and all things Yayoi Kusama. I modelled the aesthetic on post structuralist mental hospital beige. I intend to do my best work in this room.

TheBagwan out on the town (A lot of people remark how TheBagwan bears an uncanny resemblance to a young Alice Cooper, amazing).

I've always enjoyed looking at old magazine covers and marvelling at the amazing work that goes into thier design. Designed to sell, this type of graphics is surely the most underrated of our popular culture, scribbles on walls seem more important to most. Go figure.
